First Contact - Screening

First order of business is to make sure you are actually eligible to legally work in China. In order to be eligible for a Z work visa to teach in China, there are several documents that we need to make sure you have.

1. Bachelor's Degree (any field).

2. TEFL/TESOL certificate and/or 2 years of teaching experience with a reference letter. (Some cities may only one while some require both items).

3. Valid Passport. (See FAQ for more information which nationalities are eligible by Chinese Regulations).

4. Police Clearance (this can be presented later after you are accepted and we need your documents for the Z work Visa).

If you have all the above-mentioned documents in order we can continue to receive your introduction video along with a passport style photograph of yourself. (Heads Up! This is where you first sell yourself, so be energetic and lively, let yourself loose and be silly ^_^).

Reviewing Your Application

Once you have completed the screening process you are instructed to supply all documents via e-mail for final reviewing. 

Successfully reviewed candidates will then be interviewed via a video call. Relax, this is just so we get to know a bit more on a personal level so we can place you in your most suitable environment (have coffee while we talk ^_^) This where you can ask as many questions you wish, after all, we want to make sure you are comfortable traveling from home to a new country, we understand how daunting it can be.

Successful candidates will be contacted again with an offer and a contract. 

During the video call candidates will be explained how to prepare their documents in the correct way, so we can process your documents as fast as possible to obtain your Z work Visa. 

If you passed this step you are soon on your way to the land of dragons, China.

Contract & Supporting Documents

Now, this is where most people run for the hills. We all know paperwork can be a haunting exercise. 

Our team will assist you through the whole process in a step-by-step manner, so you can easily collect and process your documents stress-free. 

Your documents are required to be authenticated and notarized by your nearest local Chinese Consulate.  These documents include:

1. Bachelor's Degree.

2. Police Clearance Certificate.

3. TEFL/TESOL Certificate.

Please contact your local Chinese Consulate for exact details on how to get your documents authenticated, not all embassies work in the same manner.

If you are a South African citizen please see FAQ for the process of getting documents authenticated. We would assume all other nationalities probably work in the same way.  

Acceptance & Arrival

If you agree to the contract provided we can now complete the final step to obtain your Z work visa.

A signed contract along with your authenticated and supporting documents will be required in order for us to obtain your Z work visa. 

A work invitation letter and work permit drafted by the Chinese government will be sent you once we receive it. 

These documents are then to be take to your nearest Chinese consulate to apply for the work visa. 

When your entry is in your passport you can get on your flight and enter China to being your new life journey.
